Dart Kicks Off Summer with Military Truck Ceremony
With great excitement and preparation, the Dart Network was honored to hand over the keys to three new military-themed Kenworth T680 trucks on Flag Day at the Dart Corporate Headquarters in Eagan, Minnesota. Special guests included representatives Kenworth Tuck Company, Rihm Kenworth of Saint Paul, and the Minnesota National Guard.
The three drivers who were received the keys to new Kenworths were Larry Williams, Jose Guerra, and Gordon Landy – all company drivers within the Dart Network.
Larry, a U.S. Army and Navy veteran from Alabama, was ecstatic to hear he was selected to drive one of the new military-themed trucks. He applied, interviewed with the selection committee, and the rest is history. His wife, Jane, explained how the truck also honors her father who served in the military. Together, Larry and Jane have been able to accomplish their dream of carrying on their passion for supporting the military.
Jose, a U.S. Army veteran from Ohio, could barely hold in his excitement when told that he was chosen as one of three employees to drive a military-themed truck. Jose loves to drive over the road for Dart and see the locations and vast landscapes that come with the job. Now, he will do so while displaying his pride for the U.S. military in the new Kenworth T680.
Gordon, our final driver chosen, is also a U.S. Army veteran who is from Wisconsin. He is happy to represent the military and the time he spent in the service by driving the military-wrapped truck. Driving on a dedicated route, he is frequently stopped and asked about his beautifully wrapped truck.
The Dart Network is grateful to have these three amazing drivers behind the wheel of our latest additions to the military-wrapped truck fleet. If you see Larry, Jose or Gordon make sure to stop and have a chat with them about what it’s like driving these awesome trucks!
