Podcast: Dart O-O Pat Wortham Participants In The Honor Flight Program
Earlier this year the Dart Network participated in the Honor Flight Program, which transports World War II and Korean War Veterans to Washington, D.C. to visit the War Memorials and other sites on the National Mall. As part of Dart’s support for Veterans, Dart sponsored an Honor Flight from the Twin Cities to Washington, including lining up guardians to accompany those older, honored veterans making the one-day round trip.
Dart owner operator Pat Wortham, who drives one the military-themed trucks in the Dart Network fleet, served as one of the guardians. Pat was matched up with his father-in-law, a Korean War Veteran. Following the Flag Day ceremony that welcomed that seated three more military-themed trucks into the Dart Network, the Dart Network Podcast caught up with Pat who shared his experience of participating in the Honor Flight program.
