Plover, WI (January 5, 2017) - The Women In Trucking (WIT) Foundation was formed in 2011 to provide financial assistance to help women advance their careers in transportation in the areas of safety, truck driving, leadership, or as a technician. Since 2013, the organization has awarded 40 scholarships. “It is through corporate giving, such as the Ryder Foundation which donated $25,000 and J.J. Keller Foundation which gave $10,000, along with the many individuals who have contributed to the WIT Foundation since its inception that allows the organization to provide scholarships annually to those in need,” said Debora Babin Katz, Vice President, TrucBrush Corporation and WIT Foundation Chair.
