To prepare for success with Dart, you’ll complete the on-boarding process at one of four Dart locations with a two-day "New Contractor Information Session".
Information Sessions are available every week in the following cities:
During the session, you’ll have the opportunity to complete a road test and demonstrate your knowledge of "best practice" safety techniques and hours of service compliance.
You’ll also learn tips for running a profitable business: find out when to settle and learn the best way to cash in on lucrative discounts in Dart’s Advantage® Fuel Network. Over 1,100 participating truck stops make it easy to save big money on fuel.
The New Contractor Information Session includes:
A DOT drug screen and physical will be completed at an authorized clinic prior to the information session.
During the information session, your truck will have an appointment for a DOT inspection. If you don’t already have one, a PeopleNet mobile communication unit will be installed in your tractor.
During your information session you’ll also have the opportunity to meet your fleet manager and others in your support team. These are the folks you’ll communicate with on a daily basis. Your goal and ours is to conduct business in the safest possible way, operate with integrity and efficiency and provide you with a winning business proposition.
